Brad and I watched this ridiculously cute and entertaining documentary on Christmas eve…and then I watched it again a few days later because, well, who doesn't like babies?
This one's good enough to buy in my opinion...probably entertaining for babies too.

The movie follows four babies and their families* from various cultures around the world through their first year of life. It is creative and beautifully documented – definitely grab for the Blu-ray disk. The Mongolian baby who rode home from the hospital with his parents on a moped was too adorable in my opinion. The aspect of the movie that had the biggest impact on me was that radiant, chubby baby from Namibia who lived in what we would consider "filth" and played with rocks and empty bottles, yet she was the happiest baby of the whole group. I could learn something from that baby…and I think I did.
*Maternal nudity rampantly displayed by tribal women - cannot be held responsible for any repulsion that might result in viewing this film. (Brad made it through if that helps you gauge it…shocking, I know!)
Brad made it!!! Joe did not make it ;) But then again he didn't have any sisters! He's like why are you watching that? Because it's so stinkin cute!!!! Especially the little baby talk and play!!! and the fun time with big bro =) I thought it was interesting to see how different cultures bond or lack of. I was so sad when the Mongolian Mother didn't even get to see her baby after he was born!!! But you could tell how much she and the rest of the fam loved and adored him by the end of the movie! I agree, the little African boy was definitely the most adorably happy even though he had no toys and no sanitation. and the priveleged Japanese girl! SO many cute scenes in the movie!!! I am so excited for you guys and can't wait to hold your beautiful Asian Angel in the future!!!
